We had eight of our Cubs on this fantastic camp aimed at Sixers and Seconder, held at our HQ in Kidlington.

The camp began at 9am on a chilly Saturday morning. The Cubs were split into teams and learnt everything that they needed to know about map reading and navigation.

After lunch they completed a number of bases in their teams, including map making, tracking, a map quest, and a treasure hunt to Tesco (to buy dinner supplies) visiting different roads along the way.

Back at the Scout HQ it was time for some games before the Cubs cooked up some amazing feasts. Once clearing up from dinner was complete the Cubs got ready for bed and snuggled down to watch a movie.

The next morning was cold but sunny; after a good breakfast the Cubs found out all about what to take on a day hike before mapping out their hike route. In their teams they walked about 5 miles, with a lunch stop in a field along the way.

Back at the Scout HQ it was time for the closing ceremony, with prizes for the winning team.

Thank you to everyone who took part and all the adults who helped make it such a wonderful camp!
