Once again we met with Cubs from the 10th Oxford Pack for our final meeting of the term. This year we had more than 60 Cub Scouts and at least the same number again of parents and siblings. It was a lovely warm evening and, after some investitures at the start, the Cubs quickly got very wet. We started gently, with Cubs transporting water by sponge, and ended with with "Duck, Duck, Drench" which got them perfectly warmed up for a wild water fight (no Akelas were spared).

Once the Cubs had changed into some dry clothes there was a BBQ for everyone, featuring more than 300 burgers and sausages, cooked by some helpful parents (thank you!) It was a lovely conclusion to a very active and outdoorsy term.
