Our 25 Cubs joined with more than 700 from around Oxfordshire at this fantastic camp in the grounds of Blenheim Palace. The camp had a global theme, with each District representing a different part of the world and many Packs adopting a country to represent. Our Pack were representing Japan, having found out all about the country in the two meetings before the camp.

The camp started on Friday evening. The Cubs received their Japanese themed T-shirts and woggles and were given their passports, to allow them into other countries around the camp, before heading of to Carrot's Roadshow for music and entertainment.

After at least three hours' sleep (!) Saturday was spent travelling around the world, visiting different countries and trying out new activities, from kite flying to kangaroo pancakes and from touch rugby to rope making. Much of the afternoon was spent in the butterfly house (getting warmed up!), the adventure playground and the maze. After a chip shop supper the Cubs took part in campfire before heading off to bed.

Sunday began with a ShelterBox Challenge treasure hunt and a bring and buy sale. The tents came down after lunch and then the Cubs took part in a series of Asian team challenges. By 3pm they (and we) were all exhausted: a great time was had by all!
