District Boating Day (22 June 2013)

Try out some new boating activities during this District Boating Day, and earn your Water Activities badges in the process. Please note that spaces are limited to 10 per Pack - our spaces will be allocated on a first come basis. We also need some adults to help out on dry land, with walking the Cubs to the boat base, helping get boats on and off the water and getting the Cubs changed.

Please submit the form below, together with full payment, as soon as possible (the spaces will go fast and your space is only reserved when you've booked and paid!)

Location: King's Lock Boat Base, Wolvercote (park in Wolvercote Public car park - Cubs will walk together from there - you cannot drive up to the base for this event)
Cost: £5, payable by one of the following methods:
  • PayPal - just click the PayPal button to add the activity to your cart
  • Cheque - payable to 33rd Oxford (Kidlington) Jacala Cubs Scouts - write your Cub's name and the the name of the event(s) on the back of the cheque
  • Cash - put notes/coins in an envelope and write your Cub's name and the the name of the event(s) on the envelope
Start: 8.30 am
Finish: 1.40 pm

What to wear: Cub T-shirt and scarf, whatever you want on lower half, shoes that can get soaked through
What to bring: Rucksack containing a complete change of clothes (including underwear and shoes) and a towel (please don't forget this!), waterproofs if it's wet, sunscreen and hat if it's hot, something very warm to put on when they get out the water
