ShelterBox Scavenger Hunt (16 July 2011)

This is a a scavenger hunt around London, to raise awareness of ShelterBox, starting and finishing at Westminster School in the heart of London. Cubs will be split into three groups, each with two adults per group.

The mission: the aim of the scavenger hunt is to gain as many points as possible by completing three different types of challenge.
The challenges: there are three types of challenge:
  • Questions and riddles: teams work together to discover the answers
  • Teasing tasks: they take longer to answer but we find out a lot about London's landmarks
  • Team tasks: fun activities to test problem solving and team skills
Items: Cubs will have to carry ShelterBox balloons with them
Points: different challenges are worth different points - we'll get more details on the day - there are no points for completing in the shortest time, it's all about completing challenges (with extra points for not losing balloons)

The competition finishes at about 4.30-5pm, following which we'll go for a McDonald's (as we'll have had such a healthy day of walking round that we'll need something unhealthy to make up for this) before catching the bus back at about 5.30pm.

Cubs are encouraged to obtain sponsorship: download sponsorship form
