Spring Term 2018

Autumn term subs
Subs remain at £4 per week. From this we keep £1.20 per person per week (to cover badge costs and programme expenses), with the balance going to Group. This is used to pay our utility bills, cover maintenance and renewal costs and also pay the annual subscription fee to the Scout Association. In addition, this term we will be making wooden Kub Kars at Cubs (ready for the District competition); the kits cost £5 each and the cost of these has been added to subs. We have 11 weeks this term, so total Spring term subs are £49 per Cub.

All subs payments should be made through My.SCOUT (you will get an email about this). If you haven't already done so, you can either create a direct debit - which will be automatically cancelled as soon as your Cub leaves the Pack - or you can make a one off payment from any bank account. If you are unable to pay online please speak to Akela about paying by cash.

Pack Clothing

Don't forget that you can order Pack clothing through the website.

We have a good stock of Pack T-shirts, polo shirts and hoodies available to buy - these are ideal for camps and weekend activities and can also be worn instead of full uniform during the summer term.

Badge champions
These Cubs have worked hard to earn so many activity badges and challenge
badges - keep up the good work!

  • Second place: James D (49, including 20 activity, 25 staged, 4 challenge)

Attendance champions
These Cubs attended every meeting
last term - well done!
  • Ben
  • Benedict
  • Jack M
  • James D
  • Joe
  • Matthew
  • Philip

A special mention goes to James who still hasn't yet missed a single Cub meeting in his time with the pack!

Outings and camps champions
Taking part in trips, camps and outings is one of the best bits of Cubs - well done to Bethany, Vito and Philip who all attended 7 out of 8 possible activities last term - and Bethany only missed the hike because she was unwell and then completed a longer hike in her own time, so I'm counting it as if she were there!

A special mention goes to Bethany who has taken part in every single trip, camp and outing that has been available to her as a Cub!
